Your journey down the river has come to a close, for now. I'm glad that I am able, through the world wide web, to share my love for Dan Fogelberg's music with so many of his fans, and hopefully, I am bringing some new fans onboard as well. How I envy them! They get to discover Dan's music for the first time, and have nearly 40 years of beautiful music to catch up on!

To all of my fellow Dan Fans: Thanks for dropping by! Without you, this web site is a very lonely place! Please feel free to write in to share your stories and thoughts about what Dan's music means to you, and I will publish them on this web site. I also invite your suggestions and criticisms. Please check back often for updates. If it looks like the site has not been updated for a few days, be patient -- it will be soon. Everything gets done eventually, but since I balance this web site with a very busy analog life, sometimes certain projects slow down or get put on hold.

My sincere thanks goes to the following people and organizations: To Tripod and the Lycos Network for giving me a place in cyberspace in which to host my humble web site; to Register.com for nicely managing my domain; to Webmonkey for refining my webmastering skills; to Laurie at HK Management for all of her help; To Linda at Scarecrow's Dream (no longer online), Brett at Ever On, Todd at DanFogelbergFans.com (no longer online), Ryan at Ryan's Dan Fogelberg Page (also no longer online), Wynn (deceased) at The Fogelberg Page, and Mark at Bergman's Home for welcoming me with "Arms Wide Open" into the world of "All Things Dan;" to Sam Silverhawk at Silverhawk's Creations, Sonny at Poison's Icons, and Roxy at Roxy's Renditions for those three artists' wonderful Native American and nature graphics; to Steve at The Voice of Golden Eagle for supplying me with music for the Native American page; to Artemis (Linda), whose sage advice was invaluable to me as a webmaster, without whom this web site could not have evolved into its present form. For, with Spirit guiding her, I too learned to walk the Spirit Trail as a webmaster. I am forever in her debt.

My most heartfelt thanks goes to Dan: For the music, the magic, the mystery, and the memories -- this web site is dedicated to you. Thank you, Dan, for helping to lead us into the light -- and away from the darkness. Thank you for giving us "the stories of our lives," as it has been most aptly put by Linda at Scarecrow's Dream -- A Journey Of Spirit. And thank you for showing us the way to the Spirit Trail -- and, most importantly, how to walk it -- with our hearts and conscience as our guides.

May your heart rejoice in song
May the skies be fair above you
As you journey ever on...

The webmaster's auto tag, shot last winter after digging out from the blizzard of 2003! Click on the picture or HERE to view a movie of the "Ever On" car after it was freshly dug out! I had to pay these guys to do it... otherwise, you would have lost this webmaster that winter!

Sammy says...

Relax, Sammy... go take a nap. Good boy!

"If you want to send the webmaster feedback, please put a note in the bottle and float it down the river (click on the floating bottle). Upon approval by the webmaster, it will be posted within 48 hours on the Feedback page." (Please note that since Dan’s passing, the webmaster no longer monitors the mailbox.)
