Gregory Hatfield, a 25-year veteran of television, is skilled in both linear (tape-to-tape) and non-linear (Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premier Pro) computer-based editing, and is proficient in the use of both Microsoft and Apple computer operating systems. Well versed in standard operating procedures in television studio production, Mr. Hatfield has twenty years of experience editing television news under high-pressure and tight-deadline conditions. An ENG (Electronic News Gathering) photographer as well, Gregory has three years of experience shooting news in the field and 20 years behind studio cameras (non-robotic).

A webmaster since 1997, Mr. Hatfield currently has several exciting web sites online. He has built many different web sites over the years, each one further developing his skills. River of Souls - Celebrating the Music of Dan Fogelberg, is a fan appreciation web site for singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg (deceased), and is the most researched and work-intensive site Mr. Hatfield has produced thus far. Prior to RoS, he designed Greg’s Galactic Place In Cyberspace for one of his favorite rock bands from Texas, the Galactic Cowboys. Before that, Gregory built a tribute to his father and the very interesting life he led as an entertainer and pilot. The Life and Times of Paul Hatfield demonstrates how his dad turned adversity into good fortune -- a lesson in life for us all.

Greg has been a musician since the age of eight. He writes songs (mostly soft rock/country, and some harder rock songs, and instrumental numbers that lean towards classical and new age), and sings and plays acoustic and electric guitar, keyboard, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, clarinet, harmonica, and a few percussion instruments like the tambourine. You may listen to and download demo versions of two of his songs HERE, HERE, and HERE.

Also, some macro-photography (super close-ups of flowers and insects 1" away from the lens). Use your browser's "Back" button to navigate back to this page.
